Plastics : The switch from glass bottles to plastic bottles

1- Lower production costs: Plastic bottles are cheaper to manufacture than glass bottles. They require less raw material and less energy to produce. 2- Lighter weight: Plastic bottles weigh much less than glass bottles. More plastic bottles can be transported in one truck. 3- Less breakage: Glass bottles can easily break during transport. Plastic bottles are durable and resistant to impacts. Fewer damaged bottles mean less product waste and lower replacement costs.
